After completing her undergraduate and graduate studies at Boğaziçi University in the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Ms. Yeşim Gezen began her professional career in 1992 at T. İş Bankası A.Ş., Securities Department. In 2008, she joined İş Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. as the Manager responsible for the Operations Department.

With 30 years of extensive experience in the banking sector, brokerage firms, and portfolio management companies, Ms. Gezen has held managerial roles in Investment Advisory, Fund Services Unit, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, Legal Affairs, and Financial Affairs, and has also served as a member of the Board of Directors.

She has in-depth expertise in a wide range of areas including the establishment and licensing processes of portfolio management companies, the structuring and administration of securities, real estate, and venture capital investment funds, as well as the analysis and development of automation software for brokerage and portfolio management firms, and the restructuring of business processes.

As of September 2024, she has joined Emaa Blue Portfolio Management Inc. as Deputy General Manager.
